Hey there! Welcome to HEOP Connect the online social getaway for the Higher Education Opportunity Program student and staff. HEOP Connect is a extension of the HEOP.org project lead by Fleech Media. The original HEOP.org is a website dedicated in bringing free information related to the Higher Education Opportunity Program to those who seek. Now it extends it’s service to the social market by providing the ability to manage your own profile that can be publicly viewed. HEOP Connect is operated by a group of students who are/were part of the program and have had experience on the application, interview and acceptance process. Furthermore, they have an understand of what it means to be a HEOP student and alumni and the responsibilities that come with both. This team of student, hired by Fleech Media, aims to make current high school students aware of the wonderful scholarship/state programs out there for them. Furthermore, the team aims to make the application, transcript, recommendation process easier for the students by providing easy to print and use resources.
HEOP Connect’s goal is to create an invite-only social portal where HEOP students and faculty can reconnect and stay connected no matter where they are. Furthermore, HEOP Connect aims to create a community where buying, selling and borrowing of education materials (ex: books, online gateways, etc) are highly encouraged.
Just as a small note HEOP.org and HEOP Connect are in no way affiliated with the Higher Education Opportunity Program nor with the state of New York. Furthermore, HEOP.org and HEOP Connect not affiliated with any companies or institutes mentioned on this web-site. HEOP.org’s primary purpose is to raise awareness of the wonderful Higher Education Opportunity Program that has helped shape many students lives.

How and Where Do We Get Our Contents?
We are currently running a very powerful script that is not only user-friendly, but also secure and very active. Everyday our site sends out a web-crawler to search the web for contents relating to or pertaining the keywords Higher Education Opportunity Program or in short HEOP or related educational news. It then sends the HEOP.org staffs a list of articles it has discovered on its day out and awaits to be approved. If the administration team finds the information to be helpful, they then add that article to the web site in addition to placing the source form which they gained the information from.
